Red Obsidian Tower Quartz Strawberry Crystal in East Coast Road, East Singapore for sale

There is some controversy about what it is exactly.
 Some say it is quartz and they call it strawberry crystal. Some say it is reconstituted crystal made by melting raw crystal with copper powder. Some say it is obsidian or volcanic glass.
Whatever it is it has the properties of quartz in that it is not scratched by metal unlike calcite or fluorite. It is fluorescent under UV light. 

This red flaming obsidian tower is slightly over 12 inches in height and weighs about 1,200 grams.
It has 6 sides and is nicely terminated to a sharp point at the top.
The picture does it no justice. There are striking patterns and dancing swirls of red and white. A good mix of cloudiness and transparency. At times it is like peering into dancing flames leaping about in fire. 

Truly a beauty to behold! Dramatic!
